SAVE THE DATE: THURSDAY 7 MARCH!

We’re “wrapping up 2024”! Thank you to everyone who entered this year, including the last minute dot coms who put their names in the hat just minutes before last night’s midnight deadline.

The calibre of entries is “out of the park” as the baseball term goes, and if my memory serves me right it could be the strongest year to date.

Wellbeing Awards entries were exceptional – a lot of brands I personally love and buy are in, this year.

And it’s going to be another very competitive year for the green beauty brands, a “level mix” of the big names in the natural & organic industry alongside a good number of just-launched (loads of new launches this year, more than any previous year, it feels like!) or much smaller artisan brands.

We absolutely have our work cut out for us in the next few months and I’d like to thank – in advance – our amazing judging panel, including 5 new judges who have joined us for the first time (British TV presenter Julia Bradbury will be testing products with us for 2024 too).

To allow ample time for properly judge a product there’s always a wide window between the “entries close” date and the winners announcement – it’s just not possible to honestly, thoroughly, test many of the products (eg health supplements just to name one scenario) in a month and then “quickly announce” the winners. (I won’t mention anything about some other awards here…ahem!)

There’s nothing better than supporting and spotlighting ethical brands so every year is as exciting as the previous one, if not more. Green beauty hasn’t had the easiest of years with quite a few brands folding, sadly, so voting with your wallet has never been more important if we want these brands to be around and thrive.

There’s so much “good stuff” that has come in, so even though the winners list won’t be ready until late February, I’ll be sharing some of my personal favourites here and there, mostly on Instagram in the next couple of months.

So, yes 2024, we’re ready for you 🙂
