MEET THE EXPERTS EVALUATING 2026 ENTRIES

Meet our 2026 panel who will be testing products during a 4-month window – from early September until late December.

Entrants have to wait until early March for their results, but ample time to properly test and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each product – especially skincare or natural health supplements – is very important.

ENTRY FORM: 2026 AWARDS

MEET OUR TWO NEW PANEL MEMBERS

This year we welcome two new judges:

Terese Mårtensson (Sweden) sustainable beauty advocate and green beauty scout

Ana Green (UK), independent beauty education consultant, with nearly 6 years of previous experience in various roles at the leading organic cosmetic formulation school Formula Botanica. Many will know her as the founder of one of the original green beauty blogs “Ana Goes Green”.

2026: A SPECIAL YEAR

2026 is Year 18 for The Beauty Shortlist, which launched in the summer of 2012, and time has sped by – we’ll be celebrating 15 Years of The Beauty Shortlist Awards in March!

A LOOK BACK AT THE NATURAL & ORGANIC PIONEERS

The blog grew surprisingly fast (consistently and completely organically with no financial support) back in the days when the only household name green beauty brands blazing the trail were Neal’s Yard, Dr Hauschka, Weleda and a few others.

The big three already had a solid pedigree:

NYR started out in 1981, in London’s Covent Garden

Weleda’s beauty and wellness roots were planted in 1921 on Swiss soil

While German brand Dr Hauschka has been flying the flag for clean skincare and self-care since 1967

Makeup brand ILIA Beauty (to sprinkle in a touch of chronological perspective with one of green beauty’s biggest success stories) launched in 2011.

(A $100 million business, ILIA is now owned by the Courtin-Clarins family).

Before that, Evolve Organic Beauty (one of the most affordable clean brands on the market) had already launched two years earlier – in 2009. Founder Laura Rudoe’s goal was to establish a new beauty standard – fusing organic purity with clinical performance in formulas poured into simple “modern apothecary” style sustainable packaging.

I’m excited about 2026 because it’s a landmark year with many memories looking back.

It feels like maybe seven or eight, to me. Where did all that time fly to?

FOR THE FIRST TIME, ALL OF THE AWARDS OPEN ON THE SAME DAY.

ENTRIES OPEN MONDAY 1 SEPTEMBER – all awards

Closing: 30 September / Samples in by 7 October – all awards
