6 OF THE BEST ACNE BUSTERS & CALMERS OUT THERE

acne

All quite different, all on Cult Beauty if I’m not mistaken, all worth a try if acne is your nemesis…it is such a frustrating condition (and work from the inside out and look at nutrition and lifestyle, too).

FOOD TIPS

Ditch the pasta, white bread, sugar, cow’s milk/dairy (the “all whites”) and curtail your intake of high-glycemic foods – I normally would give a more detailed low down of each product here but time is not my friend this week, I’ve been working crazy hours and still haven’t got the hygge cosy beauty post up but this weekend it will be!

TRIED AN OIL CLEANSER? (Sounds mad, but…)

Also – counter intuitive though it sounds, oil cleansers can work wonders, instead of sucking acne dry and imbalancing things, oil cleansers can rebalance skin…sounds so wrong but worth a try if nothing has been working. Patience is a virtue (and all that)…and it’s sooo hard not to do but caking on foundation is not the way to go.

I remember these acne stars here were at Cult Beauty when I last looked so if you want to see why I’ve singled them out as among some of the most effective, head over to www.cultbeauty.co.uk – they should all be there.

FOUNDATIONS

Two products that would be on my list if I had acne would be:

LAURA MERCIER OIL-FREE TINTED FOUNDATION

BARE MINERALS POWDER FOUNDATION

Less blanketing, more breathing.

Beauty is an inside out job so if you’re investing in a good product(s)/routine you have to look at diet and lifestyle, too – same goes for redness caused by inflammation, overly dry skin, eczema, etc. Our skin is our health barometer, our largest, living breathing organ. It does not lie.

Hygge Beauty is next! Have a happy, cosy, weekend, we’re almost there!
