July is such a funny month for beauty. You’ve got one foot in a cool blue pool while the “Christmas in July” news flows in. We’re not ready for Christmas yet – at least not until we’ve had a decent UK summer.
Here’s a sneak peek at London brand Cosmetics A La Carte’s Christmas collection (above) which includes a new lip colour for winter 2015 called Empress, in a cool, very deep purple.

Cosmetics A La Carte’s summer shades for lips include some of the more interesting “pantones” we’re seeing around at the moment.
