Surprisingly good! Salt of the Earth Travel Size “rock salt” Deodorant

Deathly boring subject, surprisingly effective product.

I’m travelling at the moment and I’d just run out of deodorant before the trip so I took a chance on Crystal Spring’s 100% natural “rock salt” deodorant (travel size 50g/£3.29) thinking, well, if it doesn’t work I’ll just pick up something else along the way.

Pick up something else along the way? I might not be switching deodorants for a long time.  This stuff is great.  You use it on damp skin (I wet the end of it before applying) and there’s zero scent so no conflicts with perfume but the best part is, of course – zero odour.

It works by leaving a thin layer of natural mineral salts on skin which inhibit “odour formation” and presumably the bacteria that cause it? This sort of deodorant is the answer if you are looking for something that will last and last (sprays seem to run out quickly) and if you’re concerned about the link between deodorants/antiperspirants and breast cancer, it ticks that box, too.

Plus if you’re flying with hand luggage only it’s very small and unlike liquid roll-ons you don’t have to stuff it into a plastic bag with your lip glosses and mini shampoo.

Have you tried any of these?  Any men we know tried them?

  1. Love this stuff. It was the first ever product I wrote about and also one of the longest lasting!!!

I’ve used Crystal Spring for years, having tried tonnes of natural deos in the past. In my opinion, it’s the best deodorant on the market – I urge everyone to try it!
