Bonjour Spring! JO LOVES White Rose & Lemon Leaves

Go to bed in winter, wake up in spring. There’s such a freshness with the turn of a new season and as it’s awards day, this is going to be a short and sweet post to celebrate one of our favourite fragrance creators, Jo Malone, MBE.

White Rose & Lemon Leaves launched in early March. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but my favourite so far from her entire collection is still – by a scented whisker – Pomelo.  It’s like walking on an Italian beach in bare feet in a cooling breeze on a warm afternoon – 110% “Med in early summer” with a crisp citrus twist and a touch of sophisticated suede which makes it such an intriguing/modern take on citrus.

“This fragrance represents my most treasured and memorable moments” – Jo Malone

If you’re near 42 Elizabeth St, London SW1, pop into the JO LOVES shop and try them all.  Or treat yourself to her “shot set”, mini vials of the favourite scents.  The collection has expanded to include bath, body and candles and if you do get to her shop, treat yourself to some “fragrance tapas”, a fresh way of discovering new scents (you’ll find out what we mean when you’re there!)

JO LOVES WHITE ROSE & LEMON LEAVES

‘Just like a piece of porcelain, there is something so delicate about holding a rose in the palm of your hand. White Rose & Lemon Leaves combines the fragility of this beautiful bloom together with the familiar scent intensity associated with rose. This fragrance represents my most treasured and memorable moments.’

Jo Malone MBE

Fragrance Notes:

Perfectly balanced with subtle strands of citrus and the softest cedarwood, this fresh, elegant Norma Jean white rose has a unique depth that increases as it warms and settles on the skin. White Rose Oil, Lemon Peel, Rose Absolute, Petitgrain, Honey, Amber
