bird feeder

Kew Gardens Burton Cake Bird Feeder £7.95 at John Lewis

While we’re busy stuffing the turkey as well as ourselves over the holidays, we mustn’t forget to feed the birds who find it harder to find food in extreme winter weather conditions – particularly when the ground’s covered in a big sheet of snow.  And if you’re larder’s overflowing, there’s no better time than this week to put aside some essentials and festive treats for those who are struggling – take some supplies to a food bank, or find a local charity who’ll distribute your food to those who need it (more). The best gift at Christmas is being able to give. Win-win.
