The winners of the 2013 Beauty Shortlist Baby Awards are…
The winners and finalists of the first ever Beauty Shortlist Baby Awards are revealed this week.
Fiona Klonarides, founder of The Beauty Shortlist and Samantha Hadadi, beauty journalist and co-founder of the fashion, food, beauty and lifestyle blog “I Am Into This” oversaw the judging of the awards.
The winning brands in the inaugural awards include Weleda, Bloom Remedies, Green People, Tiddley Pom and Bamford.
The winners of the 5 categories are:
BEST BABY BATH – Weleda Calendula Bath
BEST BABY BALM – Bloom Remedies Calendula & Chamomile Baby Balm
BEST BABY WASH/SHAMPOO – Green People Organic Babies Scent Free Shampoo and Wash
BEST BABY LOTION – Tiddley Pom Organic Soothing Lotion
BEST MASSAGE OIL – Bamford Baby Bath and Massage Oil
“Because babies are the ultimate “sensitive skin generation”, it’s so important to look at product labels – which is why baby products by green, “free from” brands like Weleda, Neals Yard and Green People are doing so well,” said Fiona Klonarides.
“Looking ahead, I think we’ll see more natural sun protection products and organic shampoos coming on to the market – and on to supermarket shelves – as parents become increasingly more willing to spend on products with a clean slate of ingredients in the formula. Both baby shampoos and SPFs are relatively small at the moment as regards market share, so we expect to see new launches from smaller brands, and reformulations by some of the global household name brands.”
