Launched by former graphic designer Catherine Lewis in 2011, each handmade Balmology product features 100% organic ingredients, so this deliciously scented 3-piece capsule collection will suit even the most sensitive skin.
And as every girl knows, a good balm is hard to beat, so we asked beauty writer Samantha Hadadi to dive into this brand and give us the glow down…

“Using only the highest quality plants, essential oils and beeswax, and with no added water (this has the bonus of meaning the products last for ages!), Balmology has managed to turn my daily cleansing routine into a truly pleasurable experience.
Each of Balmology’s three products is deliciously scented and beautiful to use: there’s a Neroli and Sweet Basil Cleansing Balm, Neroli and Frankincense Beauty Balm and Caldenula and Chamomile Comfort Balm.
However, it is the super luxurious Cleansing Balm which I have truly fallen for. In fact, I don’t know if anything will ever be able to part me from this balm. Come between us at your peril!
The Cleansing Balm smells like heaven in a pot. Formulated with a blend of Neroli, Mandarin and Sweet Basil essential oils – all renowned for their cleansing and toning properties – I felt as though I were stepping into a Mediterranean garden every time I used this.
Made with Beeswax, the balm is beautifully moisturising and left my face baby soft. Although it contains plenty of oils (including Avocado, castor, Jojoba and apricot kernel oils), it left no oily residue once I had swept it off with a muslin, just a wonderful glow.
Unlike many other cleansers I have tried, Balmology’s effectively melts away all traces of make-up, leaving my skin feeling clean and radiant. All in all, quite a wonder product.
Each night, I also followed the cleanser with the Exotic Rose Facial Oil, which is truly a delight, and probably one of the best facial oils I’ve used lately. Just one pump of this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth, without being greasy. I also awake to fresh, clear skin the morning after!
On days where I need a little something extra, I have also been applying the Beauty Balm
, which I found worked brilliantly as an overnight, intensive treat. Those of you with dry, irritated or chapped skin will also adore the Comfort Balm, which I have discovered is brilliant on my elbows and knees!

These look incredible! I’m desperate to try facial oil seeing as everybody is raving about it, but I have quite oily skin and I’m not sure if the facial oil will make me break out? nevertheless they look so nice that maybe I’ll just get one to perch on my shelf! xxx
