SOME BODHI TO LOVE: THE NEW ROSEMARY CHI HIMALAYAN DETOX SALT SCRUB

rosemary chi bodhiLast month, as the rest of the UK sipped on Pimms and basked in the early May sunshine, I was having a dilemma. A real, girly dilemma.

Beauty writer Samantha Hadadi reports back on the new Bodhi launch that’s looking a lot like THE Body Scrub of Summer 2013…

Wading my way through piles of summer dresses and skirts, I found that I had nothing to wear. Or at least, nothing looked better on than my faded grey undies. While I adore the summer sun as much as anyone, it only seems to enhance pasty, scaly, wintery skin. Let’s face it, reptilian limbs and delicate floral dresses are never going to make their way onto Vogue’s pages.

In the end, I hid in my back garden, safe in the knowledge that no one but the dog would be exposed to my legs. How I wish I had had Bodhi’s Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub in my bathroom armoury then…

You see, Bodhi’s latest launch (the newest addition to the gorgeous Rosemary Chi reviving range) is a wonder of a product. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is the most effective beauty product I’ve tried, ever.

Featuring ancient Himalayan salt crystals hand-harvested from the Himalayas, the body scrub is packed with botanical oils designed to invigorate the senses, balance the spirit and nourish the body.

Unbeknown to me, Himalayan salts are something of a miracle in themselves. Containing the whole spectrum of 84 minerals and elements essential to human life and formed 250 million years ago (woah!), they help to re-belance and flush out harmful toxins.

That’s pretty darn incredible, right?

The scrub itself is surprisingly gentle on the body, sloughing off all dead skin without irritating or causing any redness. As with all Bodhi products, it also smells heavenly, combining Rosemary, Geranium, Petitgrain and Cedarwood essential oils.

Meanwhile, anti-oxidant grape seed oil, nourishing organic shea butter and skin conditioning olive squalane work to protect and strengthen skin, slowing down the ageing process.

After bathing with this, my skin was left super soft, glowing and radiant. I had limbs and a body so soft that that they rivalled my eight month old son’s. A baby’s bum indeed!

As if that weren’t good enough, the wonderful aroma left me feeling soothed and uplifted – I felt as if I were floating on air, and I enjoyed such an intense sleep after using it.

All in all, Bodhi’s Himalayan Salt Scrub is a definite must-buy to get that summer beach body.

Now, where’s that sunshine…?

One of this summer’s most luxurious body treats, the new Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub £35/250g is available from BODHI
