Selfridges Summer Beauty Box
While I love a good beauty haul (what girl doesn’t?) I have never quite got on with beauty boxes.
Every time I’ve received one, I’ve rushed to the letterbox only to be left disappointed by the contents. However, thanks to a certain luxury department store, my opinion has just changed – I am now a beauty box convert.
As you probably already know, Selfridges Beauty Boxes aren’t just any beauty boxes, they are the mother of all beauty boxes.
Usually selling out within minutes of launching, they are laden with goodies which will have any girl sharpening her virtual elbows, ready to get her share. With big name brands on board, these never disappoint, and I believe that the latest just so happens to be their best yet.

While the neon pink Models Own nail varnish instantly caught my girly magpie eye, it was the Aqua Splash Tangle Teezer brush which had me most excited. I am a huge fan of Tangle Teezer, and this one left me with silky smooth tresses, even post-swim. A must-have for your beach bag and for brushing through matted, salty waves.
Meanwhile, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a firm favourite among beauty editors and celebrities, including Victoria Beckham. This plant-based wonder smoothes features, tightens pores, and gives the complexion a burst of radiance. It’s a fab base for make-up, but I’ve been using it to reawaken and reenergise skin throughout the day.
I was also extremely excited to get my mitts on the Erborian BB Cream, which is renowned in Korea for transforming skin, leaving it baby perfect and oh-so-soft. This 5-in-1 cream contains a highly concentrated combination of herbs, which are used throughout Asia for their anti-aging properties. The cream also does a great job of concealing imperfections, helping to protect the skin against the sun (it has an SPF of 25) and nourishing the face to leave a velvety soft texture.
To add to my healthy summer glow, I’ll also be using the St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion and the Lancaster Tan Maximiser come holiday season. Oh, and while I’m at it, perhaps I’ll add to my suitcase stash with one of Selfridges many divine beauty gift sets.
