de_mamiel_winter_facial_oilDE MAMIEL WINTER FACIAL OILNEW  Well hello comfort and joy in a bottle! Annee De Mamiel’s range has long been a beauty editor favourite and here’s her new Winter Facial Oil. It’s an organic fusion of essential oils, fruit extracts and plant oils, it’s rich in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids and it can really help restore vitality to a tired, dull complexion.

This oil also includes carefully selected flower essences to encourage calm, clarity and happiness. Delicate and highly absorbent, it will seep into your skin with no greasy residue to start working its magic.

Our new winter beauty ritual and worth every penny. £60 at and Kate Shapland’s My Showcase where you can read about Annee De Mamiel and why her products go way beyond “the norm”.

HerbfarmacyHERBFARMACY Herbfarmacy’s Carol and Paul Richards were voted no. 2 in the 2013 Natural Beauty Yearbook Who’s Who Top 25 (see the line up of the Who’s Who here) and quite honestly what they’ve done with this brand is extraordinary. Dr. Paul Richards has been growing organic herbs at the aptly-named “The Field” in Herefordshire for over 25 years, selecting organic herbs for each skincare product in the range. This is a great brand to know about if your skin is sensitive, which is why almost anything on their website would be perfect as a Keep Calm Christmas gift.

The range is Soil Association Certified, which means that all ingredients, when available, are organic, and all other ingredients are stringently researched.  All the organic skincare products (UK grown and produced) are hand made in small batches on site at their herb farm – the only British company to do so. Top marks all round!

WWGLavenderWILDWOOD GROVES LAVENDER ARGAN OIL Sophie Dahl adores this delicate, lavender-scented oil and so do we.  Ruth Hajioff’s original Argan oils were around before many of the big brand jumped on the bandwagon and in our opinion, they’re still the best. Their facial oils, with 98% argan and 2% essential oils are exquisite – check out the website to see the range, there’s Rose, Jasmine, Lavender and others. The 15ml size £14 lasts for ages and is a good way to dip into this brand.

Which is our favourite? We haven’t tried all of them but Sophie Dahl’s favourite is lavenderlicious. In a rather crowded kingdom of argan oils, Ruth’s oils are royalty.

USAVONNERIE Rose De Mai Pamper Set – You know those gifts you buy but they never reach the recipient? Here’s one.  We met An from Savonnerie at a beauty show earlier this year and had to tear ourselves away from the gorgeous display.  Stepping into Savonnerie is a bit like stepping into a boutique hotel, there’s an instant calm and sense of luxury that the products seem to emanate. Beautifully packaged and beautiful smelling, this is a good brand to remember when you’re gift-hunting!

Contains: 250ml Rose de Mai Body Wash, 250ml Rose de Mai Body Lotion, 150ml Daily Facial Cleanser, 100g Flower Garden Natural Soap, 1 x Bamboo cleansing towel, 1 x Mini Nail Brush, 1 x Facial Loofah (Pk3).
