GUERLAIN LIU CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

Guerlain is the master of the dreamy ad campaign and this winter its  Liu Christmas Collection takes its inspiration from the original fragrance Liu which Jacques Guerlain created in the roaring twenties. Jacques, a third generation member of the Guerlain family, was the man behind many of Guerlain’s most iconic perfumes including  L’Heure Bleue (1912), Mitsouko (1919), Vol de Nuit (1933), and the most famous of all, Shalimar (1925).

This winter Liu returns in the form of Guerlain’s new Liu Scented Shimmer Powder (note the black lacquered bottle shape influenced by the traditional Japanese tea tray), along with a ravishing Calligraphy Eye and Lip Palette, an Eye Shadow Palette(Les Ombres Turandot) and two Automatique Lip Shine and Nail Lacquer twin sets in a deep liqueur plum (Lou-Ling) and a decadent golden sparkle (Altoum).

The PR images are gorgeous. If you haven’t seen Guerlain’s holiday set yet, head over to the Escentual.com blog and feast your eyes on the limited edition Perles du Dragon Meteorites and the rest of the collection!
