SUPER FACIALIST Tea Flower Purifying Cleansing Wash

So, what do you call a ‘brand new brand’ by a skincare guru famous for her Notting Hill facials, created especially for Boots?  Super Facialist.  And that’s what Una Brennan is.

Una has formulated 16 products in all, in three skin-comforting ranges: Hydrate/Rose, Deep Clean/Tea Flower and Firming/Neroli.  This is the Tea Flower (the minute you flip open the top, out wafts the most gorgeous sweet orange/ylang ylang aroma) which is a clear, gentle, foaming gel glycerine-based cleanser with Salicylic Acid to help clear up excess sebum. There’s Elderflower to help minimise pores, and it’s SLES-free, too.

Honestly? Astoundingly good value at £7.99/150ml and here’s an easy prediction: if the rest of the range is anything as good as this cleanser, which we’ve heard it is, then this brand will fly off the shelves this summer, autumn and winter.

If your skin tends towards oiliness you might also like Super Facialist’s Tea Flower Mattifying Moisturiser, now at Boots, £12.99/75ml. And the Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil looks very tempting, too £14.99/30ml.

Super Facialist is now available online at

(Selected products only, rest of the range will be in Boots in August).
