WIN a LIVE NATIVE Gold Eye Balm £45

Above: Live Native Essential Woman Frangipani Daily Moisturiser

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED, LIVE NATIVE WILL PICK THE WINNER THIS WEEK 16/7/12!

About 18 months ago, we reviewed Isle of Skye skincare brand Live Native’s Essential Woman Frangipani Moisturiser (the closest thing to an organic sorbet-style-cream-for-the-face you’ll find on the planet) Intrigued by founder Vicky Ewbank’s commitment to feeding everyone’s skin with raw-blended, nutritious skincare, we followed Live Native’s news.  And since then, a lot has happened, one of the highlights being Live Native’s addition to the impressive brand stable at www.beingcontent.com

Now, along comes something new and rather fabulous. Live Native’s latest launch is a 96% organic Essential Gold Eye Balm with 23k gold leaf. The gold helps reflect light and protect skin while cold-pressed Comfrey oil helps calm puffiness and reduce the look of dark circles. Anti-ageing Argan oil, coconut oil, raw cacao butter and rosehip are also in this lovely little pot of gold.

What is it like to use? Luxurious.  You won’t want to put this on pre-make-up, because it’s very silky and very rich although it feels decidedly delicate and “sheer”, not like a heavy balm at all.  You will want to put it on first thing in the morning, the minute you get home or as a pre-bedtime treat, because it’s like a mini spa treatment for the eye area. It smells almost chocolatey/vanilla (probably because of the cacao butter) and you can’t actually see “gold bits” in it – it is has a lovely light, almost a shimmer to it.

AND…WE HAVE ONE LIVE NATIVE GOLD EYE BALM TO GIVE AWAY, WORTH £45

HOW TO ENTER:

1) Sign up for Live Native’s newsletter at www.livenative.com

2) Follow Live Native on Twitter @LiveNative1

3) Subscribe to The Beauty Shortlist (scroll down to the bottom – you’ll get updates as soon as a new post goes live but we promise not to send you anything else, so no need to worry about horrible spam marketing emails from companies you’ve never heard of!  We won’t market anything to you either.)

The winner will be picked by Live Native, and entries close midnight on 15th July 2012. Winner to be announced shortly the week commencing Monday 16th July 2012.

The reviews on the Beauty Short List are so well written and yet
give us a maximum of information in relatively little space.
Any chance of more coverage of e.g. legs and other parts of the body?
